I think every artist on here has a piece called Awakening. Here's mine.Done in mostly prismacolor pencils, it's something I decided to draw specifically so I could enter it in a contest being held by and . It's a bear, and it's element is earth. It's name can be Bob if it really needs one. The balance and focal point are kinda wonky, but I'm really happy with how some of the textures and colors turned out. I guess that's about it...........

I must say, this is quite possibly the best piece in your gallery.
There's so much going on, and it seems like each stroke and line has a purpose. Very nice. Perhaps you should attempt something similar?

Well that's the beauty of art, you don't have to do something exactly the same each time. You can experiment and go on your feelings at the time.
I mean, wouldn't art be boring if you produced the exact same thing over and over again? Heh.

This looks great! I love the texture and shading on the bear, and the rocks, and the moon, too! It's claws and teeth looks amazing also. And dangerous, wouldn't want to meet him

cause i think mine is kinda plain, if you look at what the pic is about; yours is a huge bear thing 'awakening' from slumber, lifting the ground as it moves. mine is really just a dragon hovering in midair. ^^

But it's a cool dragon! It's not the generic scales 'n' bat wings with a bunch of teeth. It's got it own style. That's what makes it so cool.

So I'm doing a picture of Denim for you for your birthday. Is there anything I should really remember to include? So far he's just a big tough lookin' wolf with a sword in his mouth. I didn't put the harness thing on him because it doesn't work with the fur style I chose, but the position is really cool and I'm so excited about it!
