Description
The glimmer dog is completely handmade from scratch. Its face is polymer clay with painted glass eyes. The legs are ball jointed and easily positionable, made of paper clay, polymer clay and apoxie. The body is soft and positionable with a plastic armature. The face and legs are painted to mimic the color shifting of the sequins, with a chameleon paint that shifts from greens to purples at different angles. Not only is the body full of color shifts, you can also infinitely change patterns on the body by flipping the sequins backwards to black.ΒIt stands at about 18 inches tall.

I was actually planning on making a species like this but you beat me to it! I have a sequin purse that is green, blue, and purple shades on one side but you can brush your hand over it and it turns matte black. All my friends want it XD

this is really beautiful, I love how you made the feet poseable as well. It kinda bothers me, with a lot of dolls, how the feet always stick out and the toes can't curl.Β
And I love how the face and sequins look, it has almost a dragon look to it.Β

Yes, this is how i made the joints. I would not call them stiff, but they are not loose. They can hold a pose and hold the weight of the body, when properly posed with straight legs. The tension in the elastic determined how loose or tight the joints were, i made mine tight enough to hold its pose.
