Beautiful shot.
The focus is excellent, yet not quite overwhelming. Focused enough to see the path of the scales shape. And also, you can see if the scales are lighter on the skin or more forced in from the light or dark bordering of the spines.Each individual spine/scale is something of its own, very interesting subject to take of photo of. Im quite a fan of lizards, but this has to be one of the best shots i have seen in a long time. And it gives it a more crisp look because of the enlarged pupils i believe. And is that moisture forming at his mouth a little bit? Haha, to sum it up, very clean piece. Thank you for posting~!

Where to start?
On the positive side, we've got a pretty nice depth of field which is cool to have in most cases. I also really like the texture on the chameleon. (Is it a chameleon?)
On the negative side, focus is little out of hand. Even though I know it's must be tricky to get a shot of these animals just right but I would welcome crisper details and a better focus. Nothing big, though, just a side note. Did you use a tele lens?
To sum it up, I would give you 7/10 points for the photo.

you know, I'm going to post him. I have a few shots of him that are so cool, but just got lazy about posting any. Now you can give your friend (Joe?) another liz to look at or whatever project he's doing with lizard pics lol
Now Miss/Mrs/Ms? lol Moonbeam. I've written to you a few times over the years. I don't believe I've ever put you on my Dev watch if that's even possible. I'll look now. Oh!! I do have you on my Dev. watch already. I've gotten many raves about my work. I was given a DD(not that that means much) a few years ago.
I'd appreciate if you would check out my gallery and give me your opinion. There's about 5 pages of them. Honestly, many of them are infinate. They just don't end when you have them some where you can see them. So, please understand work like mine get's killed on here. Yes, all art does, but art like mine takes an even bigger hit.
