This is a really cool shot of a flutist. I play the flute myself, and I wish that you had been there to take the yearbook shots of my sections performing during the winter concert!
Anyway, I just downloaded this to put it on my desktop, if that's okay. It looks almost exactly like a scene I have in my mind for a short story I want to write (though the character playing the flute is a wee bit older ^^), so it's up for inspiration.

I can hardly wait for spring myself; it was fifty or sixty degrees last week and I was out on my bicycle for several hours. Now there is snow everywhere and I am miserable.

Love the sweet, dreamy look on her face...the slight intake of breath...the way the end of her flute is fading off into the forest... It makes me think that she's playing the forest into being...
The composition, btw, is superb. EXCELLENT cropping and framing!!

She was actually playing while I was shooting, if I remember right--I love the looks people get when they're playing music because I know how those looks feel. And thank you!!
