Coloring this one was pretty much fun. It was great to be in a drawing-rush for a couple of weeks, but I'll have to stop myself for the moment
One more commission to go and I'll be all working on my portfolio and resume.- mermen rule the world! ^^

reminds me very much of a tattoo. i also like the fish! they seem like koi fish but also have a dragon wing influence.. is there a name for this kind of fish? ive seen them before in art

Umm well er I dunno for the version, I really don't care much for it as lonf as it's Photoshop CS or later versions, they're pretty much all teh same to me

Well I use the regular round hard brush, with opacity dynamics, the rest is patience and practice^^

Very interesting composition, very beautiful work with subdued colors. Unfortunately not a premium member so I cannot give a formal critique, you don't have listed what medium or program you were using, I'd be interested in knowing. I like the shadow effects, I thought for a moment he was underwater by the use of color and shadow till I took some time to look at it. The hands on the bottom were a fun touch, almost wish the picture was pushed up more, less top, more bottom. The jumping fish verses the cresting waves really made the viewer want to look down the picture and discover some of the other little details. All in all well done, congratulations on your daily deviation.
