Description
When the land was still very young, and the gods and and archetypes walked among us, Sun, one day, was feeling playful.  He called four tribesmen to a contest.  Their challenge, Sun said, was to find Dancer.  And then Sun said no more.  Curious, and excited, they all went off to find her.  The next morning, they all walked up to the highest point for many miles – an east-facing cliff.

The first tribesmen had gone into his village, and brought back the best dancer he could find.  She leapt to the cliff's edge, and fearlessly moved along it.  She twirled, she jumped, she flowed with every crack in the land, her spirit guiding her.

The second tribesmen had gone into the forest, and found a hare.  He had told her about the contest, and she had graciously agreed to come with him  She moved forward and presented her dance as well, in much the same way, but of course more hare-like, more wild.

The third tribesman had gone into the forest as well. He presented a tiny sapling, its roots still heldfast in the earth in the palm of his hand.  He wordlessly held it to to the sunlight, and the little tree danced with the breeze.

The fourth tribesman had gone to a river, and brought back a nondescript stone.  The other three looked on, a little confused.  He then took a larger stone out of his pouch, set the small one on the ground, and  struck it, breaking the stone in two.  He picked up both pieces and presented them to the sunlight.   The light that touched the little crystals danced at well.

Finally, Sun let out a great, enormous, mirthful laugh, in the way that only Sun can do.  He spoke to them.

"YOU ARE ALL BOTH RIGHT AND WRONG. DANCER IS EVERYWHERE."

And for less than an instant, she appeared to them. She was, indeed, everywhere. She was in them all below, and in all above – even in Sun. And she put part of herself right before them, and danced a dance like none of them had ever seen, that was Life itself.
