Hey everyone!!

This is a commission drawing I've done for a new friend He wanted me to draw his favorite animal for him, but there was some misunderstanding about what he wanted: he told me he wanted me to draw a weasel, so I showed him photos I could use as a ref, and he said:"no, not this! another weasel!"... so we discussed and showed each other photos, and discovered that, in his region of Ireland, a stoat is often called a weasel, hence our understanding problem

So, this beautiful mustelid lives in most of the Northern Hemisphere, is really fast and seems to be bounding as it runs... you can recognize it by its black-tipped tail, too... It eats meat, and can kill rabbits that are much bigger than itself with a fast and precise bite at the neck... In cold regions, as you might know, stoats can become all white (except for the black tip of the tail) in Winter... in warmer regions, they don't change their color at all, and there are some "patchy mixes" in-between...
