Hello everyone!!

This is my entry for the Contest 62 - All Aged Down - first entries! held by
The idea is to imagine a Disney character when he/she was a kid, so I've "aged down" Phil (Philoctetes), satyr and coach of heroes from the movie Hercules

Here, he's about 10 in human age, attending "Care of Trees" class with his friend Chloe, who's a Willow-Nymph I've named her Chloe for 2 reasons: First, I wanted a name that would work in Ancient Greek as well as in our modern world; then, I wanted a name that reminds of plants and/or wood... so I thought about Chloe, which means "young leaves, young plant, young sprout" in Ancient Greek
About the "ageing-down" process, I drew adult Phil twice, to get used to him... then I tried a few sketches, by looking at photos of kids playing some music and of young goats... then I tried to keep his main features the same, but younger... so he has his very special nose, but a bit smaller, like kids have, his twisted eyebrows and, for his hair color, I looked at adult Phil's goatee, then imagined very curly hair, like a friend of mine who's bald now, but used to have curly black hair...

The tree is inspired by our jalapeno tree, that we've grown from a seed and is now 1m high with many, many leaves... Phil and Chloe are both using nature magic to help this little tree grow, and they're happily working as a team!

I had sooooo much fun imagining this, I hope it shows
