Thanks for comment. In my head the colourless white patch is not light in any form. It is a nothing place a distant unknown and unreachable space ahead in time.

The colour is a definite improvement I think. I'm intrigued as to why you continued the blue on the tree like structure at the top left. I like it though becaus eit gives that rather abstract doodle a connection to the rest of the landscape. Also the area in the sky where there is no blue kinda looks like the light source, which is a bit confusing as it conflicts with the shadows. It is a surreal painting though so shadows don't neccessarily have to conform to light sources etc.
