Your gallery is filled with vibrant, lively paintings that have amazing texture. Your style makes me really look at the layers and try to guess the process behind applying the paint -- especially in this one. This was a great choice for a DD, congrats! I think the palette here creates an interesting mood (have to agree with a previous commenter about it being quite lovecraftian!) and I especially like the black areas -- they bring out the texture of the other surfaces and create a sort of balance/calm-area that I think a texture-heavy style like yours needs in order to not be too chaotic. Anyway, great work!
