The city in the background fascinates me! It seems like there's some kind of wistfulness to it. It reminds me of the city I always visit in my dreams that represents a place where I lived for a while but will probably never get to go back to.
I get the feeling you've had something like that in your life, and I'm sorry if I'm poking a sore spot. But it's nice to recognize it in another artist's work... Unless it's just in my head and you just like city backgrounds, which is also cool.

I really admire the simple, yet extremely effective, techniques you use in your artworks.
Especially through the types of tools you use.
The cross hatched sky, silhouettes of the buildings, the smoke.
The way you can make an artwork focus on a single point through the use of shadows and texture.
I'm sorry, but I'm fascinated.

I admire the way you do cross-hatching without making it look chaotic/messy. The girl's posture clearly shows she's feeling really down, perhaps she's heartbroken? The buildings are fantastic and a pleasure to look at, as always. Another awesome artwork by you!
