Mutation parade 2022: Universe [EXTENDED] Welcome once again to our yearly mutation parade! Stargazing FestivalIt has been well past the year for the festival, as flame flies have started to become more active and the nights draw shorter. The Golden Fox Hunt was overall a success, bringing much attraction and excitement to the crowds as ever in their new home! But with the timing of the annual parade past due, it was time to call for a new gathering again. The skies have been a different beat since they changed their lands, especially the star map above! Go and hang out with your favorite universe while watching the stars above! The Parade:The Parade this year will be based out in the countryside! Please be sure to consider the weather, time of day, and setting when completing your piece. You may enter your own horse, a general, or one of another member (given with permission). Weather:This year’s parade kicked off at 7 PM, in the local countryside. The sky is clear and a perfect view to watch the stars as the sun goes down. Rolling fields are along the outskirts of the villages where the booths are located, and one of the local scholars even made a star map to present! Be sure to include some element of stargazing in your entry.Rules Your image must contain at least 1 Universe Nordanner, other Nordaners welcome but not mandatory. Riders are also optional. (Some horses just have minds of their own!) If you don't have a Universe Mutation Nordanner, feel free to ask your fellow members!! Leasing of our new Generals is also permitted! If you don't have a Universe Mutation Nordanner I'm sure there are plenty of members out there that would be willing to lease out a pony or two as well! More than one member can draw the same Nordanner, don't be afraid or bummed out if another member got to a particular horse before you did! You can see our Generals!Available Generals: 1023 Cosmos and A503 CeresOne image per person. Collaborations are allowed but you must decide how to split the prizes between you if you are the winner.This show will be judged on effort. Whining, bitching, throwing things /cats/small children and generally making the winners feel bad will not be tolerated. You will get an official group warning for exhibiting these behaviors.Judging based on effort is against your OWN gallery. This is a time-consuming process that sometimes comes down to tiny nit-picks between entries. If you don't place, it just means we think you have even more potential.We will also be looking at stories, though they won’t be the deciding factor/have as much weight as your image as we know not everyone loves storytelling. However they might tip the scales for you, so if you’ve got a great idea, be sure to include it!While it’s great to go out of the box with your entry, be careful when doing something more artisan-craftsy as it makes it very hard to judge against other entries.Tracing allowed, though not encouraged. Must use actual stock photos, no Google-sourced images. Failure to credit stock providers will get your entry disqualified. Remember to check stock rules; some providers don’t allow their stock to be used for Nordanners.Potions are allowed and encouraged! Note that you must have your kaaring status confirmed to use the unlockable potions. Your entry will be disqualified if you use potions without unlocking them.Images must be created for THIS event. Reusing or re-purposing old artwork will get you disqualified.Rewards:This year we’re running tiered rewards depending on total participation.
