Description A herd of elephants emerge from a waterhole in Etosha (Namibia) after helping to get a little one out of the water (he had fallen in).

This photo shows wild elephants in Namibia, I captured this shot from an
underground bunker at a waterhole - shot at 24mm focal length, full
frame!

Black/white is perfect for this shot!!! Excellent choice! Repeating myself, doesn't the ears being flared out like that indicate that they are suspicious of something or are on alert? Or perhaps they always approach the waterhole in this cautious manner. Anyway, it makes for one GREAT photo!

Thanks...this shot was taken after a baby had fallen into the water so the herd was in quite a state of panic. They are coming out, herding the little one out of the water here.
