My entry for 's 43 contest.I Won!!!
It's another colouring book contest where one is to take a colouring book picture
I used this one
and colour it, preferably colouring should be inspired by a famous artist. (thought that is not a requirement, still it is what drew me to the contest)
This is colouring in based on Gustav Klimt's "woman in gold "
I played a little with the design to make it more my own, but it is in essans the colouring book picture, I elongated the dress and tweaked the crown etc...
Klimt was a bit out side my usual reference pool so it was fun trying to emulate his style.
That is why I keep coming back to these challenges
It was fun. a semi digital collage, semi digital colours.

Dark skinn and gold are match sent form heaven in my opinion and when this idea struck me I went all out.
Klimpt is also one of my Bff favourite art nouveau artists

And I've been to the MOMA of Both New York AND San Francisco! And even the Walt Disney Family Museum Twice if that counts!
