Aerieondra has awoken from her slumber. Originally disappearing at the beginning of BfA, due to being transformed into the Lightforged Pheta'eras by the Naaru, The events of the upcoming conflict in Shadowlands has broken the barriers between life and death and even reality itself. With the shattering of space and time, an alternate reality Aerie that decided not to go and meet with the Naaru that fateful day has been merged into our own timeline. She awakens from her bed after defeating the Legion to find her world much different than what she remembered. What was going on with these new races and allies and conflicts? How long had the Alliance and the Horde been in total war? What in the world had Sylvanas done? And why is everyone she meets surprised to see her again because they thought she was dead? Hadn't she just seen them all the day before? All she knows is that her duty to the Sunwell and the restoration of her people calls to her once more, and so she returns to the fray once more.

So, with Shadowlands coming up, and hopefully repairing much of the damage done by BfA to WoW, I've returned and am back to maining my Blood Elf Priest Aerie. It's been fun to get to know her again and to discover the ways that she's talking to me about her perception of what's going on. And who knows what awaits her in this new world where she has apparently been considered dead for months or even a year? Will she run into her alternate self Pheta on the battlefield? Will Pheta recognize her old self if she does and how will she react? So many questions!
