This is from September 2010, and I originally posted it on Film Brain's fanpage on Facebook. Because of random computer hiccups, this is the largest version I can find with the background on.

I used to be really into vectoring anime CD covers and reproducing/editing it so that they looked like different stuff. In fact, most of the original concept art for Haruhi Insano is in the form of edited vectored CD covers.

Here, I chose Yui's Go! Go! Maniac cover from K-ON!! to vector over. Film Brain's outfit is the standard one he had as his avatar on the TGWTG forums. (I'm very analytical... Fun fact: I very nearly made an index of his clothes, but stopped because I got confused by some mangled katakana on one of his jackets.) Each member of Houkago Tea Time was eating a pastry on the original covers, so on this one he's eating a Die Hard DVD pastry with orange jelly filling. *giggle*

"Go! Go! MovieMad" is a reference to his old YouTube name, I believe. Either YouTube or DVD Aficionado, I don't remember. Bad Movie Beat-dan is a crappy pun And the logo in katakana at the bottom is a matching version of the BMB logo at that time.

I only got around to doing two in this series, this one and one with Braeden Orr as Azusa. I did lines for another with MikeJ as Mugi, but I was unable to complete the coloring due to GIMP crashing frequently back then.
