It’s been a long while since I did any fan-art for The Sight. I was quite prone to it in the early 2000s ( moundfreek.deviantart.com/gall… ) but it fell to the wayside for school, other fanaticisms, etc. But for the plight of animal books, and to get out some pent up frustration about a favorite author losing a publishing contract, I drew this. I call is Larka’s Blessing because this book was a blessing to me. It enriched my mind with beautiful writing. It was a lesson in poetry, in flow, and characters. I loved it as a kid. I love it even more as an adult.
May we see another David Clement-Davies story again soon.
Images comprising Larka: The abandoned castle, fire, Skart the great steppe eagle, Romulus and Remus and the She-Wolf, poppies, ravens, snow of Wolfbane's Winter, and the wolf pack.
