"Why that was the stars, my little ones," growled Kar, throwing up his prowd eyes to the endless heavens, "for in the begining, there was light."The very last scene in my favorite book, The Sight. Kar tells the first story of Tor and Fenris to Skop, Larka, Khaz, and Kipcha.
I regret the turnout of Kar's muzzle. His cheek fur should have begun on his lower jaw a lot sooner (in my style, that is).

I absolutely love this book, i just finished reading it for the third time, and this part made me cry T_T i was all HAWWWWWW so cute so sad ... HOW COULD SHE MISS THE LEDGE?!

Well, yes, I ask myself every day "Why did she have to miss the ledge?" But then again, had she made it, the novel would not be nearly as thought provolking

yea the sight is totaly awsome i cried when larka died (i'm such a baby) anyways did u no that the author might be making a sequel, the sequel will probably feture fell and his pack at least thats what i hered.

You aren't a baby, I bawled my eyes out so hard when Larka dies that I had to put the book down.
Indeed I have heard of a conceivable sequal called Fell! But where did you hear about this? I've only heard it through a few sources, and the more I hear of, the more hopeful I am

I know! The Sight is definately the best book in the world and I got mad yesterday cause someone said they hated The Sight and Firebringer and David Clement-Davies! They said he wrote about animals but did no research on them so he knew nothing about them! That made me mad and the person hasn't even read the books!

reads ..... What does this person mean he didn't do research?? Tell him/her to peek at the front flap!!! I know in the Sight anyways he visited wolves and such ....no research! You only have to read a chapter of the book to know he had an understanding of these creatures!! And to think it's getting critisism from a person who hasn't even read them ....

I know! It really pissed me off. I was on the verge of stabbing them with my pencil. He knew a lot about wolves and deer, though I have yet to read all of Firebringer.

beautiful rendition of that scene! Rarr.. I read the book about a year ago, though of re reading it a second time because I love it so much.. oh the times I cried reading it >.>
I sketched up this seen as well, though far differant. I just LOVE that little scene and that line "For in the begining, there was light." Gods.. your artwork is magnificantly beautiful. Love the Sight pics, The one of the pack at Horja holds a special place to me as well.
