I don't think that I can argue with you there, SteamMouse.
If you are interested, I posted a 3D version of this image to help show the depth of the shelves and racking:

Β Awesome, it's like a Star Wars toy store. I spot some of your customs in there .Β

It is scary to think about exactly how many pieces there are in the collection some times.
And you did indeed spot some of the customs on display alongside the official product. I am very rapidly running out of display space for them and will need to come up with some sort of fancy way to display them, ala the racking for the carded figures, very shortly.

Β Have you considered using some of those clear cylinder things to display loose figures? If it is possible to stack those, that might be something that could work.Β

Knowing my luck, I would end up tripping, knocking the whole lot over and finding some way to break the sculpting and rip the costuming if they were stacked on top of each other!

Swooning. Even though there are bigger collections, as you say, yours is well organized and impressive. Awesome!

Thanks muchly. I tend to get a little sad when I see other (more sparse) collections laid out so that every minute detail can be seen of every piece, and then I compare to my collection where everything is crammed together in as little space as possible, losing some of the effect of just how much beauty there is in what Kenner, Hasbro, Sideshow, Gentle Giant and other vendors have produced over the last 35+ years.

Crammed together is not necessarily a bad thing. The fact that it doesn't look cluttered means you did it right!

I'm sure that there are a lot of people with collections bigger than mine out there that are more deserving of your jealousy!

I only have about 4 shelves worth. Β I do still enjoy my little museum. Β

And that is all that matters. Like the old saying says, "it is better to want what you have than have what you want".

And that is just one side of the (main) room! I still haven't worked out the right way to try to convey in 2D how much stuff that there actually is but I am sure that I will work it out eventually.
