Originates from pretty much all over the world.

Current status: Least Concern

…Although a wild animal, the House Mouse mainly lives in association with humans.

…It has been domesticated as the pet or fancy Mouse, but also as the laboratory Mouse. As the latter, they are most commonly used in genetically engineered models for scientific research.
