Latin name: Ovibos Moschatus

Originates from the Canadian Arctic and Greenland.

Current status: Least Concern

Did you know:

…The Muskox is named for the strong, musky odors males emit during rutting season, used to attract females.

…They are more closely related to Sheep and Goats than to Oxen, and though they show similarities to Takins, they aren’t closely related either.
