The completion of my fan-casting for the new Turtles movies. I think for Bebop, Rocksteady, Krang, and the Rock Soldiers I would just hire the old voice-actors or sound-alikes.Related content

i had an idea: maybe frank welker as krang (i think he was the original VO), and andrew bryrniaski+tyler mane as bebop and rocksteady (in suits? i mean, the suits for bebop and rocksteady worked in the film, so wy not just have even better suits, enhanced by CGI?)

I don't know if Tyler Mane could do a convincing punk-rocker voice for Bebop or Rocksteady.

Rocksteady- Cam Clarke

krang's voice in the original was a bit irritating, but welker is s talented he can pull this off in the clap of both of his mighty hands-and mightier lips and cords. maybe wade williams for bebop or rocksteady?

Yeah, I could see Wade Williams. He plays oafish, big, overweight guys so he'd be a good Bebop. Because you need someone whom can play semi-retarded for both characters because that's what Bebop and Rocksteady are. Basically, grade school dropouts or flunkies.

yeeah, i kinda agree. i had an idea: why not someone with a darker, raspier voice for an older, more withered, grotesque and sinister krang? someone like luoie gossett Jr. or tony todd...

Would be a different take. If they're going for a darker, "Batman Begins"-route sure. I think though the Platinum Dunes guys need to take from all sources of the Turtles. Be a little campy and less serious when it comes to characters like Mikey and Don, but Raph, Splinter, Leo, and Shredder should be taken seriously.
I just hope they'll keep Mikey's surfer lingo. I'd hate for him to be ghettoized or urbanized where instead of saying "tubular", "bodacious", "radical", and "Cowabunga" he's saying "What up, gangsta?" or "dawg" or something stupid like that.

oh god, ghettoized/urbanized mickey would suck (it would be like hiring lane garrison or the TF2 scout to be him)... but i agree on the BB route. if only mako was alive to be the perfect splinter...
