Narrator: After the bombing of Los Angeles, North Korea issued an ultimatum calling on the United States to surrender and threatening to drop a second atomic bomb if it did not. The American High Command ignored the warning. They made certain the full extent of the damage to Los Angeles, was little reported. Seven days later, on June 9th, another B-29 appeared in the sky above the city of Burbank.
[When the American government refused, the Fat Man Atomic Bomb was dropped on Burbank on June 9, leveling half the city and suffering the same fate as Los Angeles.]
