edit: 18052014 background framing is touched up to make it a little more regular and symmetrical. thanks to the constructive critique give some times back when i held a critique contest. i would do such a contest again when i have the resources.

something i worked on last year end which span over this new year.
inspired by the beautiful artworks of MMORPG such as ZerA and lineage II.

references, brush and stock used:

background reference : a tiny weenie photograph from a magazine of a chapel's interior measuring 6cm x 4cm, scanning the photo at 600dpi gave me a digital file good enough to create a painterly background. the photo only has the arched ceiling i added the foreground walls following the same style of the fresco.
