Mike as Asuma for the Stonemountian Photoshoot. Didn't take long to make his costume. He used my chuunin vest and he bought his own sweats. I hotglued the patches on his shoulders and made his sash for his waist (made outta an old t-shirt and felt). It took us 6 hours to make his hand blades though. But overall, it was well worth it ^_^.Related content

the vest was actually my first attempt before Jounin / Chuunin vest were mass produced. Photo was also taken a long time ago.

it was a very shallow little stream to where the water only came up an inch high.

I like how it looks like he's really standing on water! But how? is he standing on rocks,some weird type of shoes to hold him above the water or is it raining and he's just standing on the sidewalk??

I'VE SEEN THAT ASUMA BEFORE! *tackles* I think I saw Him on gaia with the hand blades in his head band and it said something like, "Come on porn channel". Or something like that. Either way... Damn good cosplay!

How you got him to look like he's standing on top of the water, I'm going to never know, or assume there are some well-hidden flat rocks beneath his feet.....

the water was shallow so the water did come up to our toes. But that didn't stop us ^_^.
