*Update 9/28/12* The colors in the previous version were very messy, especially when it came to her hair and eyeshadow and it made her look a bit like a clown rather than a punk rock girl. I went back and redid both...I got rid of the multiple streaks of purple/pink in her hair and just did her bangs. And her makeup...wow! Jetta is definitely a BBW now with those sultry blue eyes of hers!

I also changed the shape/structure of some of her anatomy, namely her eyes, cheeks, nose, and her right side of her torso (yeah, the fat roll ) So what she's fat? She's a cutie pie...BBW rock!

“If I were to tell you that I remember the very moment that I was born, would you believe me? Believe it or not, I surely do remember every single detail of me coming out of my mama’s womb…as well as pretty much everything that I have witnessed up to this very moment. I remember every word of every book, magazine, or whatever piece of text that I’ve ever read; I can recite the lyrics to every song that I’ve ever heard or the lines to every movie and play that I’ve ever watched verbatim. I can tell you exactly what I was wearing everyday for the past 25 years…down to my panties and socks. I can even tell you every single meal that I’ve ever eaten and how each tasted…EVERY SINGLE ONE. Even cooler how about I can watch a Martial Arts Flick, sport, or anything where cool moves and such are involved and can perfectly mimic every move…no matter how insanely difficult it is, as if I’ve been practicing it for years! Don’t let my size fool ya…I’m pretty quick and agile! Freaky, ain’t it?

You see, I’m a metahuman…nowadays it’s quite the common occurrence amongst humans to be born with special powers and abilities greater than that of a normal human. It’s not 100% proven just how metahumans become metas, but studies show that it usually has something to do with extra chromosomes in a person’s DNA as well as the genetic makeup inherited from their parents. I reckon I’ll subscribe to that notion for now. Metahuman abilities come in all sorts and varieties…the most common metahuman abilities would be super strength and speed. Some folks can fly, some folks can shoot energy beams from their bodies, some folks can phase through solid objects, some folks can read minds, and some folks can move things with their mind…I’d be here all day if I were to list all of the super powers that are out there.

Me…unfortunately I wasn’t born with the power to shoot lasers from my eyes or the ability to fly. But my powers are still pretty cool…I actually was born with two metahuman powers. I have a kinetic-photographic memory…I can remember and recall everything that my brain registers. Pretty much if I can see it or hear it, I can do it! I also have the superhuman power of Innate Capability; to dumb that down it basically means that I naturally have skills and knowledge that are typically earned through learning…I’m like Forge from the X-Men for you comic geeks out there. Naturally, my special gifts pretty much makes me a super genius; there’s a whole lotta stuff goin’ on in my noggin! It was quite the shock to my family and community in the little Podunk bumpkin country town in South Carolina where I’m from to see the super smart little girl…I started talking at 2 months old, learned to walk at 3 months, and could read and write by the time I turned one. And let’s not forget the day when I surprised everyone and repaired my grandpap’s broken tractor; BTW I was only 4 years old.

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve always had the knack when it comes to mechanical things. While my brothers and sisters were playing with dolls, action figures, or if they were out back wingin’ the football around I got my kicks tinkerin’ round with old cars, radios, TV sets, and whatever piece of machinery I could get my hands on…I would take ‘em apart and put them back together. Not tryin’ to brag, but I would usually improve on the design once I was done with it…I had my own repair shop in our backyard when I was 11; it was my oldest brother Freddie that gave me the nickname ‘Techna.’ Of course school was a breeze to me…even though I was placed in all of the gifted and special advanced classes, I aced every single test or paper that was put in front of me. I graduated high school at the age of 13 and was offered a free ride to go to college, breezing through undergrad. It was also at this time where I fell in love with Punk music and vowed to live a straight-edge lifestyle…I’m proud to say that my lips have never touched any alcohol, cigarettes, or any mind altering drugs whatsoever! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any tats or piercings yet because I was too young and my mama and daddy would’ve killed me!

My parents pushed for me to be a doctor, but the idea of being a regular medical doctor was boring to me. I got all sorts of scholarships to go to med school, so I couldn’t let my folks down. I was happy to find out that the med school that I had chosen to attend had a brand new field of study in the way of Cyberology…the fusing of organic systems with machinery. Cybernetics was the hot new craze at the time, as things that were only imaginable in movies, video games, or the comics that I read were becoming reality. This was right up my alley, as I’ve always been a fan of Sci-Fi stuff involving robots, cyborgs, and such…when I would play in the yard with my brothers and sisters, I would always pretend to be an android. Plus, I loved the idea of being able to tinker with the mechanical components in tandem with the opportunity to save and prolong life via cybernetics. One of my first successful fully functional cyborg designs was done to my cat Circuits, who I had found after he was hit by a car….I was able to save his life, plus me turning him into a cyborg cat was my senior project; of course I got an A plus! Once again, everything was a breeze and I got my Doctorate in Cyberology as well as Cyber-Psychiatry graduating with highest honors by the time I turned 17. As a graduation gift to myself, I treated myself to the tattoo and piercing parlor and maxed out my credit card on tats and piercings! My folks weren’t too happy about that though…

After med school, I was recruited by Daedalus Industries to be an apprentice technician…I subjected myself to some minor cybernetic surgery; I added dataports and jacks in several places on my body, injected millions of nanomachines into my bloodstream, implanted a bunch of microchips into my brain, and I also implanted cyber-optics in my retinas to aid me and help me better communicate with all of the computers and cyborgs that I would be interfacing with. I was all excited at first, as they were one of the most technologically advanced companies in the world and were responsible for all sorts of awesome designs in the way of cybernetics, weaponry, armor, and vehicles for ballistic purposes. However, much of my time there was pretty miserable, as I felt that I was constantly being held back by the proverbial glass ceiling. My immediate higher-ups didn’t think that I was as brilliant as I really am because I was so young…and they would also pick on my weight. Bastards!!!

Although it pretty much sucked there at Daedalus, I did meet some of what would become my best friends. Whereas all of the other technicians would treat many of the cyborgs like they were merely machines, I would befriend several women in my tenure at Daedalus: Raina Hunter, Simone Rattica, Denise Hightower…or Deuce as she prefers to be called, and Dira Lane. Just because these women were more machine than they were human, I still treated them and cared for them like normal people because underneath all of the wires and circuitry was still a human soul. In turn, they would stick up for me when the other techs were being jerks. I pretty much took care of the repair work on these women whenever they needed it, which was often as all of them were badass cyborg warriors fighting against evil forces that threatened national security….man, Deuce is the worst! I don’t know how many times I’ve had to put her back together and rebuild her body from scratch after her missions! Unfortunately, we lost Dira to Cybercom quite some time ago…she flipped her s**t and became Sataria the Cyborg Queen. Although we lost Dira, we later gained Simone after the other gals rescued her years later after being assimilated into Sataria’s Cyborg Collective, but the damage that had been done to her psyche from years of being controlled strictly by programming was immense. To this day, I can’t figure out how to get Simone’s organic brain to recall her memories and past…she has come a long way since we first saved her getting back in touch with her humanity, however.

After 8 years of working at Daedalus it was learned that Raina, Simone, and Deuce would be sent to Solaris Valley to restructure the Metahuman Crimes Division of the Police Department. I was really miserable then, as all of my friends had moved away…actually, they’re more like my big sisters if anything! I cried sooooooo hard that day! Things got even more unbearable at work and I was really close to quitting…until the day when I got the phone call from Raina herself for me to come and join her in Solaris Valley, offering me the job of head technician of the M.C.U. I literally did a happy dance and jumped on the first thing smokin’ to Solaris Valley! Being a country girl, it was a bit of a culture shock when I first got here…the traffic is awful…but now I’m well acclimated to the big city, plus the guys here are really hot!!! I love my job and love that I’m with my best friends…plus my college roommate and BFF Paulette lives here so we get to hang out whenever we get the chance.

Since I’ve been here, I’ve been having a blast…there’s a lot of punk-friendly music venues where I can mosh the night away, cool tattoo and piercing parlors, and other places of interest for me here in The Valley. There’s never a dull moment in my life here in the M.C.U...as long as Raina and the gals are out there defending the world and keeping us safe, I’m gonna keep them in tip-top shape and equip ‘em with the best weapons and armor so that they can keep on fighting the bad guys and gals!“

Techna has undergone minor cybernetic surgery, adding dataports, microchips, nanomachines, and other implantations to her body. Her eyes have been fitted with cyber-optics, greatly increasing her vision as well as giving her X-Ray vision, night vision, and the ability to read extremely fast. The nanomachines in her body prevent any sicknesses or diseases from affecting her immune system. She can plug into nearly any computer or machine and can sync up with said machine...this includes other cyborgs as well. The microchips in her brain allows her to process information at blinding speeds...making her a living computer of sorts.
Random Quirk: Techna's body is covered in tattoos and piercings...the circuits that are on her body in various places are actually tattoos. Techna is obviously a heavyset girl...the nanomachines that are in her bloodstream had an adverse effect on her body; she can no longer gain any extra weight, but neither can she lose the weight that she has.

Jetta works out daily and is very active...some of her favorite things to do is play volleyball, to which she belongs to an adult league at a local recreation center in Solaris Valley, and go moshing at concerts. She's also deceptively agile and quick despite her size...she can do a full split with ease as well as flip and tumble with the best of them!

Here's the colored version of featuring my Punk Rocker supergenius BBW Techna! I really love this character a lot for some reason and it's interesting to see her progression over the years. I've been using her quite a bit in my stories and it's only right to get some more drawings of her! If it weren't for Techna, then my other heroic cyborg babes wouldn't be able to do the amazing things that they are capable of!

As you see, I've gone back to the drawing board with her design a bit...I did my best to make her eyes look different than what I normally do. Plus, I added in pink and magenta highlights in her hair along with the black tips and streaks to actually make her look more like a punk rock girl...I even kept the red bow in her hair from her Halloween cosplay of Velma I opened up her jumpsuit to show off some of her tats and I then added the beauty mark above her lip...I just wanted to give her look a little more ZING! I think I've accomplished that! I'm really pleased how this one came out!
