Luckily a planet called New Promise has been found to support a rich ecosystem perfect for agriculture. As colonists stream in from the Planetary League, the capitalistic Corporate States, and the nature-loving Edenites, people begin to realize that they are not alone.
There is another presence active in this burgeoning frontier. Long believed to be merely the stuff of conspiracy theories and urban legend, the Convergence has held a grudge against humanity for centuries, and will not let this new settlement go unchallenged.
