Very nice, I love the personality that shines through- I can imagine what she's like in real life. Your colored pencil work is fantastic; however, I would suggest that you darken the outlines of the dog, just so that she stands out from the pale paper. But it's really a great piece.

Corgi! I love Corgis! My dog is part Corgi part Border Collie, so she smiles like that, and has that coloring, but her ears are flappy except for when she's super excited. actually, she has a hilarious overbite because of the mixture...her upper jaw is Corgi, but her lower jaw is Border, so she has perpetual overbite.

I hope you step-mom enjoys her new dog; she's a cutie!

Im going to critique you real fast
Pros : the dogs snount looks really happy and I love the side smile the ears are shaped really well and fine detail with the fur
Cons : the eye are little off witch is a comon problem when drawing realistic but with a little tweking can easily be fixed
over I like this pic and the happy feeling it gives me "keep up the awsome work "
