This is pretty interesting, but I would suggest you work on shading, lighting, and coloring. Since you're anatomy is pretty correct, you should focus on the details , especially the facial features.

Trust me I know I just haven't gotten the hang of the whole digital art thing.Not that great at it.
If I had my way I would draw and let someone else color the characters for me and learn in the process. For now I just do them as flats.
