Description
Sink the Bible to the bottom of the sea, and man's obligation to God would be unchanged. He would have the same path to tread, only his lamp and his guide would be gone; he would have the same voyage to make, only his compass and chart would be overboard. For we are men. Human beings. And like evolution - We fight for our kings. Even if our fight is not the good fight.

Grazie my friend. This is much appreciated. The left eye interrogates your mind. The right eye surrenders to the innocence that we all are human. The faceless soldier is a perfect rendition of the modern age. They build us up to be machine men. With machine minds. But we are not, Every breath is one to break free. The picture is what drew me in. I love the resolution of the eyes and the contrasting color of the visor. But the words were astounding.

Although I "sank the Bible deeper than the bottom of the sea" because there cannot be anything higher than love itself, I have to agree.
So true.
Only instead for our "kings" we should fight for ourselves, be responsible for our every action and grow up instead of being "his sons".

The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. Unfortunately there is no beauty when your actually on the battlefield. It's terrifying. For both you and the enemy. And when your best friend takes a bullet to the neck. Thats adding insult to injury. But for those who have not had this happen to them, I can relate that it is beautiful.
