"They will all indulged in this ritual, they will all most certainly have a significant other to acknowledge their feelings, to celebrate this communion between two hearts. A beautiful spectacle that I cannot naively be part of. This isolation is bliss compared to what I would have experienced with someone sharing my life. There are benefits in having someone, no denial about that. But I can't let someone be at risk when these thoughts are infecting the air around me. This is no place for a loving heart. I cannot allow that. It's selfishness alright. But one that is needed until the storm goes away. One day. One day I'll be able to let someone in again."
Happy Valentine's Day!!! Hope you all had an amazing day guys and that you were able to let your friends and beloved ones how much you care for them, but I hope you didn't wait for today to show it. And if you have no one, you still have yourself, don't underestimate that you matter too, you owe yourself so much more love than anyone can give you. Love yourself for who you are and take care. 💙 I felt it was also the occasion for an original drawing, not a repost nor a remake, I wanted to celebrate it in my own way. I use to be afraid of loneliness, I thought it was my personal hell to be unable to connect or have someone that complete me. But after years and years of figuring out who I am and how this restless and rusted machinery that his my mind was working. I finally understood what I needed to do and most importantly why. Isolation can sometimes be a peaceful heaven when depression seems to infect ones relations forn the worst.
