Thanks - it's one of the first things someone said to me when I posted this on my facebook page! I really had no idea Iron Patriot existed until after I had finished it!
I tried googling 'Iron man / Captain america merge' etc but nothing came up!

One, the design is fantastic, and totally works. Secondly, the lighting and shading on it is awesome! How did you pull this off? What program? Just to satiate my curiosity...

Firstly - thanks a bunch! I'm really happy with how it turned out (not 100% happy with the 'A' though..) although since I finished there's already some other stuff I can think to add!
Second - it's a photo edit of [link] with a silly-amount of layers; I edited the hue/sat of pretty much everything (for color) and used darker/lighter layers for shadows etc. I also plonked in a lens flare for good measure!
Some of the extras like the 'A' and the Cap-shield I designed myself (the shield was probably the most difficult; to get the angle right and to make it look seemless with the suit - but I think it looks good!)

Going off of the Cap suit design you're probably right hmmm. Maybe I'll update this and give the boots a bit of a pattern (with both blue + red?)

Norman Osborn took one of Tony's Ironman suit but changed it to The Iron Patriot~ :3 I find it a little dumb that Norman stole Stark's Ironman suit and made the suit look like Captain America~ :U

I think it was to combine Stark's image with the patriotism of Captain America.
He even had some supervillains dress up as the Avengers.
Clone Thor = Thor
Noh-Varr the Terrorist = Captain Mar-Vell
Bullseye the Assassin = Hawkeye
And The Sentry was...himself. Except when he was The Void, then he was every fedora wearing villain ever.
