Description Taken from the top of the Duomo.

I stood at least 30 minutes in this spot, wondering at the contrast between medieval architecture, modern buildings and the Alps in the background. Milan had so much to offer in terms of awesome views.

Edited it with a high grain, because I'm sure i would have taken this picture 20 years ago in the exact same way - only on film.

There are some nice cities out there!  I particularly find this shot intriguing.  As an American, such a blend of old and new is uncommon here.

I haven't seen this contrast either, but i haven't visited a lot.

Prague, for example, doesn't have it. It's much more medieval-oriented. 
The US, on the other hand, is surely more modern. 

You know what they say. I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.

Bring mace, an actual mace, and some guys nicknamed mace.

And be very careful where you go, some neighborhoods you can be a granny with a purse full of hundreds, two streets over you can be mugged for a dollar
