Mr.Sword, don't give up. Page 8 is your best so far in terms of style, perspective, and presentation. I further believe you made a good choice by not rendering every scale on that dragon, as it made it easier to convey the character's emotion. I'll be checking back every now and then to see where this story goes.
Everyone starts somewhere; the only person who doesn't go anywhere is the person who doesn't try. I didn't start out drawing dragons as well as I do now, but I am glad that I put in years of practice. My dragons have made a lot of people happy. Keep practicing, and keep advancing your dragons; unless of course you enjoy depicting slain dragons-- in which case you should stop now and never draw again.
My first dragon drawing had a pretty boxy head, and many mistakes that I know not to repeat today. I even put off drawing dragons because I wanted them to be perfect. However, this only prevents them from hatching into the world. Only you can bring life to your dragons. And stop forest fires.

Ah, ok. I thought the romance wasn't going to happen anyway because grandpa made his own suggestion for a story. By the way, your work is witty. I'm interested in seeing how the human and kotah will coexist without driving Mizu crazy.

Technically that was suppose t be a joke, I don't know why I found it so funny, but I thought it should be included into the kids' rant about what they want.
