Description Yeah...badass, jus wating for you to make the wrong move. He's seen more life (and death) in a day than you'll see in ten years. Don't make eye contact, just look away, walk away, and be grateful that you're still breathing.

Actually this bird *does* have a name and it's Delco modeled after my good buddy's Master Bird African grey.

Plain colors........ a cold feel but not harsh.
Fierce eyes...... looks like he has lots of things going to tell you.
the background...... looks death, but without a very horrifying feel.
The whole picture is tranquil, and quiet.

Great! I'm impressed by the way the way you managed to recreate the Clint Eastwood squint--and with only one eye, no less.

I... I have absolutely no idea why you chose an African Grey, but I love it.  I like the color palette and the texture in the mountains and cloth.  If you feel like experimenting a bit with your gradients and positioning, I would suggest putting your sunrise/sunset over to the left of the image to be consistent with the shadows being cast by the tombstones and crosses.

Well I was inspired by a friend's actual parrot. We were talking online and I asked to see some new pictures of his "baby" and there ya go. This piece is modeled after Delco; a very spoiled, handsome bird.

And yeah the gradient could have been more shifted to the left (light to dark) but I wanted that full glow in the mountains across the back...just a personal choice I suppose.

Yes those feet are Zygodactyl! I've been chided by you once before, so I didn't make that mistake twice.

Well I for one am very appreciative of the fact that ya even took the time to not only put together this particular piece of your artwork called "The Bird With No Name" but also took the time to show us the mountains that sit directly behind Delco as ya call him and I think that was very cool of ya to do and keep up the very amazing work there Minos my very good buddy and friend here on the very fabulously fantastically and wonderful site that is known to us artists all over the world as deviantart.

Hey, Silbil! Much thanks. Yeah I was inspired by those Spaghetti Westerns and I love them so much. So does the "bird's" owner...who gave me some photo references of his African Grey to use as my model. This piece is a gift to him and the Bird With No Name.
