you should use a bit the burn tool around him so you distance him from the background some more, or play a bit with the high pass filter.
It will do wonders for the photo.

Ta muy linda la foto... el blanco y negro le hace resaltar la musculatura (ñomi) de la espalda.
Y Aplicaste bien el blur para que el tipo pareciera en primer plano y no se perdiera en la imagen completa.... Bastante bien

yes, i added a bit if blur cos the guy was moving really fast, so i had to use a smaller diaf apperture so i can catch him in the focus area, but the background gained deffinition, so went back to my original idea (get a blury background to avoid confusion) in post production.
