Description
Quick test of minus8's ShyGal model after I ported it over to MMD. Had to build 23 facial sliders from scratch though, so that took forever.

Nice job on porting Shy Gal to MMD. I wanted to do it myself but I simply don't have time to learn the program. Seems complicated. Anyways, I noticed that her forearms are much darker compared to the rest of her coat. I'm not sure why it appears like that. Did I mess up her normals? By the way, if you want, you can simplify her textures by deleting the normal maps and the uneeded textures.
Oh, do you know what happened to ThaamiChan? She granted me permission to use her Nonon model for SFM but it appears that she isn't working on her anymore. I don't want to bother her by asking for the model but do you have an idea on when she is going to finish it?

The 'gloves' were a personal addition I did in an attempt to clean up the textures a bit. Still not 100% happy with them, but I felt like it gave the model a bit more 'oomph' that would differentiate her from standard shyguys (other than obviously being a girl, and tall, lol). So yeah, it wasn't anything you messed up - it was just a judgement call. Nothing more, nothing less.
And no, I have no clue what happened to ThaamiChan. She went radio silent a while ago and I haven't heard from her since. It's a damn shame too, she was a brilliant modeler and content creator, not to mention a hella nice person.

Oh, I see. No worries. Thanks for porting her to MMD. I didn't quite like the textures created by Kitaro and I did my best to remove shading but I didn't want to alter his model texture design too much. Glad she came out quite nicely. Can't wait to see a Miku Miku Dance animation of her.
Yeah, same here. This isn't like Thaami to do something like that. Kind of strange actually. I hope nothing serious has happened to her. I was definitely looking forward to working with her and Pachii on designing models. Like her Nui Harime model had some issues with double UV mapping and I had to fix it up along with the addition of a full body. When I heard that she was working on Nonon, I so wanted to help her to finish Nonon. Last time she told me, she said that Nonon was 3/4ths done.
I hope I'm not intruding or anything but I have a feeling that Thaami won't be returning to DA anytime soon or at all and I can't find Pachii anywhere. Her DA is completely gone. I actually wanted to work with her Nonon and upload her to the public so that everyone can enjoy her and that Thaami and Pachii can be remembered. To put it shortly, would be okay with you if I finished Nonon for them? I would be giving her the same upgrade I gave to Nui Harime. Such as smoother movements, the removal of unnecessary bones and vertices, a full body, more facial flexes, and texture designs based of UV mapping.

I wish I knew how to port models while keeping the traditional IK rig support for MMD intact (or a way to port/add the animation support TO my stuff), because as of right now all of my ports are more for static posing rather than animating.
Regarding Nonon: Honestly it's not my call. If it was my model, sure. I'd say go ham with it and do what you want. But this project/model work/texture work/etc is all done by her. I was just a tester that would add incremental updates as needed (new facial sliders, separating layers/objects, small vert editing, etc). Until she comes back or sends a message to anyone regarding this, I have to respect her choice of not wanting the model be released until it was finished, regardless if it's now a dead project.
It's a damn shame too, as even in their unfinished state those models were amazing.

You do have a point. I hope she comes back soon. Her models were amazing and I would definitely would have loved to see what future plans she would have had. I guess I will either have to wait for her to return or start working on my own Nonon. I'll wait around a month longer and hope for the best. If, for whatever reason, she doesn't return, then I guess I will have to design my own version of Nonon. Thank you for your time.

It's always a possibility, it just remains to see what else I can do with this. ShyGal is nowhere near ready yet.

That's good, ShyGals are pretty damn amazing IMO I tried making one for MMD and it looked terrible. Look forward to seeing what you do with her.
