Nice skin colors, much better then at original photo. Maybe you have to pay more attention on values. In addition it'll be very cool, if you render a neck better.
At the end I like the nose and ears rendering very much. Good work.

yes, it's always about lightning and shadow. I think I can see these nuances but can't take into account them in my own works. Maybe inreasing contrast at skin will make sence.
