This is a big square of cardboard. I carved into it to get the depth of her hair. The hair and shoulder and done with water color. Her face is drawn with brown charcoal. I like this piece a lot. I got a good reaction out of it! It's supposed to symbolize how she's poor so she's on cardboard, etc. This was an Art IV project
