In german, it's gefällt mir, and instead of saying "Der Fisch gefällt mir" I said "Ich gefälle der Fisch" (Since gefallen is a dative word it's the verb for the indirect object) basically in the long run, instead of saying the fish pleases me, I said I please the fish. Germans are perverts too."
