Also this is the best thing ever
Although as one of the two secret consultants it is my very sad (and late, ahem) duty to inform you that Janus is not a satyr but actually a faun... sorry...
I know I'm not giving advice in that area but eeba once said I could... sorry...

Thanks! Ahah it's alright, yeah, our satyrs just look very faun-like, but our fauns are distinct from them. Don't tell Janus he's a faun to his face, yeah? xD There is a precdent for this kind of satyr - dunno when it started, but you see it a lot in Renaissance art and such...he's sort of a mix of that and a few of my own ideas/interpretations.

Weeeell, not exclusively; I know when Ancient Rome nabbed the satyr they interpreted it as looking like a faun 'cause that's the creature they knew, so that was way earlier than classicism and...way more relevant to Janus, since he's an Italian satyr - and from a certain fantasy kitchen sink standpoint that's just what Italian satyrs look like, heh.
Lol that's true. Actually, he probably wouldn't care much.
I don't thiiink it's spoilery; fauns don't look like being too important so far. But (largely because of this I guess) we haven't laid down any designs, though we've put ideas out there about the differences between fauns and satyrs. I have been thinking of drawing a leetle sketch dump that illustrates it, just for fun. :3 I've also brought up the idea that there might be another family (genus? ...order? Idk biology terms) of satyrs that's closer to the original Greek with shorter fur and a more equine tail.
You're not annoying!
