“Man that training was tough” Teresa said “yeah but at least we are ready for the chunin exams” David responded, its been 5 and half weeks since David and Teresa started their training with their parents, “well done kids you have mastered your past techniques plus learned a bunch of new jutsus” their father said “yup now you have the rest of the time until the exams to relax: their mother said “and don’t forget you have to meet your sensei tomorrow” their mother added “yes mom” Teresa and David said going to bed for tomorrow. “Its been a while and I’m sure you have gotten better in 5 and a half weeks” Tiffani said “we sure did” Kio said proudly “then show me your improvements, Kio David spare” Tiffani said. Kio started by using a new jutsu “vampire bat fang jutsu” Kio’s canines grew bigger and sharper “this new jutsu lets me bite you but instead of sucking blood I suck your chakra” she explained charging at David for a bite but he dodged it “nice one but let me show you this, shadow hiding jutsu, it may not be new but I finally mastered it” David said sinking into the shadows Kio is looking around her for signs of David and then David attacked her from her own shadow “not bad but here is another new jutsu, cheetah paw jutsu” Kio’s hands and feet turned into cheetah paws and charged in for an attack but she was too fast for David to dodge and now he has slash marks “as you can tell this jutsu increases my speed greatly” Kio said “that’s enough save some for the chunin exams” Tiffani said “what about me sensei, I want to show you that I mastered the earth clone jutsu” Teresa said “then show us” Tiffani said. David and Kio are sitting down next to Tiffani, Kio’s hands and feet are normal again, “ok, earth clone jutsu” Teresa said creating 50 clones “wow that’s great” Kio said “yup its well done” Tiffani said “thanks” Teresa said with a smile, the clones disappeared, “don’t forget in three days you have to go to the academy, that’s where the first part of the chunin exams are” Tiffani said “yes sensei” the squad said “tomorrow meet at the mission room, we are gonna have a small mission before the exams, you three are now dismissed” Tiffani said. “So guys what do you want to do now” David asked “lets get something to eat” Kio said “how’s about we try that ramen stand” Teresa suggested “sure” Kio and David said. “Welcome what will you have” the old man said “spicy chicken” David said “miso ramen” Teresa said “barbecue pork” Kio said “same here” a voice said, “coming up” the old man said making the ramen, Teresa Kio and David turned to see Naruto “hey Naruto” David said “hey guys you eat here too” Naruto said “this is our first time here” Teresa said “so Naruto how’s your life been lately” Kio asked “well our team did our first A rank mission in the land of waves, but it started as a C rank mission” Naruto said “wow a while ago our team did an A mission at the rock country border and it started as a C mission” Teresa said “wow that’s weird but the man who we escorted didn’t tell us the full dangers” Naruto said “ours just accidentally turned bad” David said “heres your ramen kids” The old man said giving them their ramen. After about 30 minutes David, Kio, and Teresa finished their second bowl while Naruto finished his 10th “man how can you eat so much of that stuff” David asked “its really tasty” Naruto said patting his stomach in content “so Naruto are you ready for the chunin exams” Teresa asked “YOU BET I AM” Naruto confidently exclaimed “now don’t get cocky, overconfidence is very dangerous” David said “yeah what ever” Naruto said “well see you guys later I need to get home, its my turn to feed the animals today” Kio said paying “we got to go too see you at the exams Naruto” David said paying and Teresa left with him. Three days later at the ninja academy “man this place brings back memories” Kio said “yeah you got in trouble a lot” David snickered while Kio glared a little at him “yeah I got to graduate a year early, that was one of the best days of my life” Teresa said “well lets go in so we can become chunin” David said. Inside Teresa, David, and Kio see Sakura talking to some other genin “this is an illusion this is the second floor” after hearing that team Tiffani headed for the next floor entering the exam room ready to advance to the next level.
