No one doesn't cry at the end of Titanic, Erik included.Actually, I don't know if this is his reaction to the movie or to the fact that 40-something years of emotional repression is finally catching up with him.
After this, he's going to stuff his face with chocolates and talk about his feelings.

Love this piece, it's cute and funny! However, I absolutely hate the Titanic. I can't stand the acting of Leonardo Dicraprio (yes, that's what I call him), and the way he's constantly calling out, "ROSE!, ROSE!!, ROSE!!!" I can't stand the plot, either! It's too cliche, well then again so is The Notebook, but I actually enjoyed that. Maybe it's because I thought that Allie and Noah had a much deeper and realistic relationship than Rose and Jack. Besides, Allie and Noah knew each other from adolescence, Jack and Rose knew each other for a week on a ship.
Nonetheless, I really do love this piece.

I didn't cry while watching Titanic. Although I am different, and I bawled like a baby while seeing the Lion King in 3D. But, Erik's reaction is priceless!

But seeing it in our living room on TV as the afternoon rerun of the free-tv premiere probably took "a little" away from the mood you are supposed to get into.

On the subject of Titanic though, didn't Rose get married? I just think it's a little bit harsh on her husband - they spend their lives together, and then when she dies, she goes back to Jack... I just feel a little sorry for the husband :/

XD and T.T THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING LIKE EXACTLY ALMOST SORTA KINDA NEARLY! Cool! Well, minus the Delilah bit, but the rest of the angst there too! T3T I feel your pain in that respect, Erik. And I find that watching "Labyrinth" with a tub o' Haagen Daz in one's lap is a highly effective comfort (OMOG, wouldn't that be a hilarious comic to draw, Muirin? xD)

I'll admit, something I have never quite understood, is why people insist on naming sea faring vessels anything close to the name Titanic. Don't they know how that ended? Cars, probably safe, airplanes are fine, but boats. Really. Why on earth name a boat after one that sank?

So true. Titanic was really such a great movie. Normally, I'm not a big fan of movies including romance, but there's just something about that one. I admit I ended up crying more though for the musicians.

I agree with you about the band and engineers. While everyone else panicked they worked on. Whether to save the ship, or provide a nice distraction from all the chaos.

It was free buffet they ate in the scene we didn't see. That explains both why he sank, and why they couldn't both fit on the floating wood thing.
