Another Zerg~~~The concept is that its a tunnel or hive guardian, protecting important entrances or exits of the nydus network i.e to hives or spawning pools or mineral lines

sort of a cross between a zergling, hydra and roach
key features
- tunneling claws are plated and shovel shaped for digging
- carapace is grooved and spined for loosening dirt
- wings here actually make sense, fluttering to propel digging claws
- additional tunnelling claws tucked under the body
- bioluminescent orbs on the plates and legs
will colour this up with the hydra eventually

This is awesome. About 15 years ago my older brother influenced me to start doing graffiti in books and on paper. We would pick a word and see how many cool designs we could come up with by writing that word. He wrote the word exer and his style would often end up looking like a bio organic life form that had been mutated into letters that formed into a word. As soon as I saw this piece of yours, I thought it spelled out the word zerg but upon further examination I concluded that it was some kind of alien insect of some sort. It's fantastic by the way. The detail and the texture are so vivid and life like. I can almost feel it crawling out of the computer screen. Your art is awesome, sorry if i'm repeating myself but I must say it again and again. -451
