Inspired by the song Ennui Go by rap group Magnolius for their art contest. You can listen to it here [link]An enormous, bored demon/god is morosely torching a town and half heartedly doing away with it's defenders because he can't think of anything more fun to do.

oh man, this is so beautiful and poetic. great illustration, also color-wize
although I don't know about the foreground. the background has some depth and is detailed while the foreground is pretty 2D and is minimalistic. It seems those are 2 different styles of you combined and I don't know if more detailed city would be better..

Yeah I can see what you mean. The perspective doesn't really make sense. I think it's because when I planned it out I thought of the town as just a black silhouette but in the final thing I put the sea in there so it didn't make much sense any more.
