a ballpoint pen drawing that I slapped some colour onto in Painter, and retouched the hair just slightly even though it already looked fine before I did.I think pen shading and drawing hair are some of my most favourite things ever.

I love how the cross-hatches worked out, and I can agree with you on the hair too. My friend and I thought that you should have a horrably severed finger hangoing outside of her "mouth"

Aww, wow this is really awesome!
To learn that this was first drawn in biro astounded me. It looks really fantastic. I've never seen such skill with a biro before.
I love how subtle and yet noticable the features on her face are like the eye and the blood from her nose. I really do like how you've patterened her right eye. It looks a bit like a mouth with teeth and gums surrounding it, and is a really nice effect. Her expression looks innocent and yet at the same time quite frightning. Some really excellent shading around her eyes by the way. Very nicely done.
I also like the somewhat old fashioned outfit she seems to be wearing. It adds character to her, along with the bow on her head as well, and the colours of her outfit fit very well with the other colours and tones of the peice.
Nice background effects as well. I like how one side of her is a calming blue colour and the other side looks mutated and a little scary. It works very well.
And the hair looks awesome, by the way
