Mate, I'm really digging this.

I need to learn this as I'm working on a piece of wallpaper with an aerial view of a city something similar to this, where one block is the focal point featuring an extuded logo that needs to look like the tallest building. But for me it's an aweful lot of work modelling each block in c4d. Any suggestions how to get the grips with structure synth?

Are you thinking about something like these: [link]

I have a Eisenscript that generates huge random cities.

Oh yeah, that's about as close as I can think of. Except my pov is almost straight down with a bit of an angle of course. What's the best way to texture all these blocks you think?

I have never really tried complex texturing in structure synth/sunflow. The only thing I did was a simple cube map for all cubes. But I think for what you want to do, you have to export the created city geometry and import it into c4d somehow(never tried). Then you can do advanced texturing there.

Thanks for the info.
I will try to make city geometry in structuresynth and import it into c4d. Else, there's always Photoshop to paint in some texture as well
Thanks.
