Description
The final of these 3 pieces I liked enough to post, meant to evoke the feeling of insomnia!
I pulled the 10 color palette from a picture of my bed sheets under harsh light, and from there things became... interesting. Adobe Illustrator isn't the kindest program to those who want to make natural shapes (not to mention that they're integrating NFT bullshit directly into their exporting options soon), so I gave up on struggling with the concepts of things orbiting a central sphere and moved towards more cyclic geometry.
As a kid, I used to feel like my head was spinning when I had too much energy to sleep, so the notion of a rigid cycle was essential to the piece's composition. After all the fumbling around, the two orbs ended up being there to represent eyes in a binary orbit, and the symbols strung along the canvas are were just inspired by abstract alarm clock numbers!
I might even like this one enough to use as my banner?
