Flash art experimentI've always been impressed by some simple yet complicated lifeforms. Some plant types actually hunt for prey. I tried to make some abstract impersonation of those kind of plants I made up myself in my head. The plants react on the flies you can create, and get a bigger head when they just ate a fly. They slowly digest the fly and get taller. The more flies it has eaten in a short time, the less hungry it is (the less it reacts on a fly), thus giving other plants a chance to eat too!
Geez, these plants are more socialized than most of the people...

Fantastic imlementation.
The "grab" animation is so smooth for being dynamic, and the elasticity is very convincing.
Might be fun to see the plants seed new plants after reaching a certain height, or evolve (flowering or branching, although branching might be tough to program).
Anyway, you could do a lot with this. Very peaceful too.
