This is about my theory on Taka and why he did the things he did.

I kinda have this theory that after he got his scar (from his father, I think) he ran away from Pride Rock (just for a night or so) and bumped into the Hyenas in the graveyard.

You know how near the end of the movie Scar blames the hyenas for what he's done;
"It's the hyenas, it's their fault" and the hyenas look really angry and a bit shocked, however to me it seems like Scar has betrayed them a lot more then it seems. I have a strange feeling that Scar was telling the truth then.
That when he met them when he was younger and possible a bit powerless against them they used him. The hyenas probably wanted more power in the pridelands (because they seem very put down in the film, they're not even allowed in the pridelands) and so used Scar as a tool to get what they wanted and Scar eventually got so wrapped up in it that he felt he was in charge but nearer the end when he becomes helpless against Simba he remembered the night he met the hyenas and finally realised he was not controlling this scheme and so he gave the hyena's away. By this point however Simba did not believe him however the hyena's realised Scar had broken the deal and therefore they killed him, even after he survived Simba.

Yep, I'm not very proud of this, I was lazy with the shading and background and the whole image is too dark. Schools fault I say, pfft.

Forgive me for the messy blood but I wanted to show that there was some splatter when he got that scar.

Please, please, please, no more comments about 6NA and how Scar really got his scar. Simple,
I KNOW.
I've read them I know that's how he got his scar but frankly I think it's a crummy story. Besides this really doesn't even have anything do with HOW he got his scar anyway, the picture does not suggest anything of that nature. It's more about the events that happened just after he got it, so if you still want to believe it was a waterbuffalo you can.

Also, no offense but the canon is not be all end all of it.
My arguement? If people can go against the canon enough to pair two same sex characters in nearly every fandom I'm associated with, who are CLEARLY straight, then I can come up with my own theories for how characters got their attributes and markings.

On another point, this pic is 2 years old. I don't even draw TLK anymore, so maybe just let it be and enjoy the fanart cos you won't be seeing anymore from me.

A further point, I'd like to geuninely thank all those who left wonderful compliments and well constructed comments and faved the image. It means alot to me, I was always very proud of this piece...ok I just read the above comments maybe I wasn't ALWAYS proud of it lol but I do look back on it and feel good about it so yeah. Thank you once again.
